About the Artist Edward Emile Chiapella Painter 1889-1951 CHIAPELLA, Edward Emile [Painter] Hollywood, CA. He was born August 17, 1889, New Oreleans, LA and died in 1951. He studied at the Otis Art Institute [Est. 1918] in Los Angeles and was influenced by Alexander Warshawsky and Paul Laurtiz. A member of the Painters culptures Club, 1943, Santa Paula Arts Association, 1944(prize), Los Angeles Museum of Art.,1945 [47] Listed in Who was Who in American Art 1985 page 112 Land Scape.
